Living in the Light

The smile of the dawn brings roses in the spring
The sorrow leaves
The cold washed from my bones
The bridge is over the winding sea
Look back at me and I will smile
Beyond the shadows, the candle burns
I’m laughing, alive.

Really like this one.

Unlike many posts in this board, this is not dark at all.

It reminds me of the first day of spring, not the official one, but the real one that's personal to each of us. It's like a journey's end: we know we got there, alive and well.

Thanks.
Bob

This should be put on a romantic greeting card for Hallmark or something! Excellent as usual!

I really like this. Makes me feel all optimistic and hopeful and stuff. Light at the end of the tunnel kinda thing. Good job. And nice imagery.
